COMPARISON OF THE TWO POSSIBLE MACHINING OPTIONS ON THE FRAME HEAD

View without stop profile

Pros

  • With the door open, the machining is barely visible.
  • With the door closed, it’s not visible at all — just like a hinged door.

Cons

  • Invasive machining
  • The finish must be restored on the visible machined areas
  • The remaining section where the top plate is fixed is somewhat thin
  • With the same frame dimensions, the panel is taller

View with stop profile

Pros

  • Less invasive machining
  • With the profile applied, the machined areas are covered
  • With the same frame dimensions, the panel is as tall as a hinged door

Cons

  • With the door open, the profile is visible
  • With the door closed, the profile is visible
The new updated Compack Living kits will have a new coding system that distinguishes them from the previous mechanisms (the third digit of the code changes from 2 to 5 across all Compack system codes, excluding accessories, e.g. 802F60DX becomes 805F60DX). Sales prices remain unchanged.

The new Compack Living price list will include, among the accessories, the aluminium stop profile, available in three finishes (NATURAL – SILVER – BLACK) and in three different lengths (800 – 1200 – 2000 mm). The 800 mm size can be used on Compack doors for a Wall Opening Width (Luce Foro Muratura) of 900 mm. Aluminium profiles can be cut to any size; the cut is straight and the cut end may remain unfinished, as it is concealed by the vertical frame. Other lengths not included in the price list are available on request.

UNCHANGED FEATURES

  1. The size of the central bottom hinge (ref. 510) remains unchanged.
  2. The machining on the leaves and on the frame remains unchanged.
